Maria Ason

María Ason was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico in 1967. Graduated in 1990 from Hartford Art School, Hartford, CT, mayor: Printmaking/Graphic Design. She started drawing since she was 7 years old. During her years in the Art School she discovered printmaking (i.e. aquatint, etching, lithographs) and loved painting with acrylics.
